Small Groups

• FIRST PLACE -  a Bible-based health and weight loss program.  First Place is about much more than losing weight; it's about gaining a life-changing relationship with Almighty God. The program can strengthen both body and soul, and includes sections on everything (e.g. food plans, recipes, exercise tips, etc.) that an individual needs to  lose weight the healthy way.  This group meets each Tuesday at 8:30 am at the Turnbows.   Please call the church for more information.

• A Women's PRAYER GROUP - "All God's Gals" meets each Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm at the church.  The group's focus is prayer and encouragement.  All women are welcome

• A Men's PRAYER GROUP meets each Wednesday evening at 6:30 am at the church.  All men are welcome.

• A group for the "young at heart" SON RISERS (ages 50+) meets regularly.  See "OTHER EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES" below for date and and time of next meeting, or contact the church for more information.

• We consider our SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY hour to be a small group as well, and we are studying a variety of topics.  Please call the church office 570-323-9564 for more information about any of these groups.

• TEAM KID - TeamKID is a fun, high-energy meeting that encourages kids to know Jesus and grow in relationship with Him.  Each week meetings will include Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions and recreation.  TeamKID is for kids age 3 to Grade 5, and meets Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30 pm at the church.

• TRUTH PROJECT at the church starting Thursday, January 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.  This 13-week series is designed to take participants on a guided worldview tour and help focus our thinking on four fundamental issues: Truth, God, Man and the Social Order.  This series is produced by Focus on the Family.  You can read more about it at TRUTHPROJECT.org.  Sign up in the foyer or by calling the church office.

• BUSINESS MEETING - Sunday, December 11 -- immediately following the worship service. There will be no meal.

• SATURDAY NIGHT THING - December 17 from 6:00-8:30 at the church.  This is for teens, grades 6-12.  The evening will be a Nerf Gun War and pizza!  Bring your own nerf equipment and $3.00 for pizza.

• CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE - Saturday, December 24 at 6:00 pm

• CHRISTMAS DAY WORSHIP at 10:15 am
